Speed detectors on the football pitch

Our speed detectors are ideal for measuring the speed of a football. The system will lend your competition, tournament or practice a whole new dimension. Who has the most powerful goal kick? Was the penalty shot more powerful during training or the actual match?.

Our detectors are used by both numerous amateur clubs, and professional clubs such as FC Zwolle, ADO Den Haag and SC Heerenveen. See the Media section for a short film on our system at SC Heereveen stadium.

In order to ensure accurate measurements, our systems must be positioned so that they cannot be hit by a ball with the display clearly visible. The speed detector must be placed behind the centre of the goal for optimal measurements. All systems come with an instruction manual.

WG 54 XL

Offers the same features as the WG54, but features an extra large LED display and can be used for both sporting and traffic applications.

• Can be powered by mains voltage and 9 volt batteries
• Maximum deviation < 1 km/h

LED/LCD Display specifications

• Display is 41 x 27 cm
• Can be powered by mains voltage
• Can be mounted or installed on a tripod
• Suitable for up to four WG 54 speed detectors
• Measurement will remain visible on display
